The EMERALD LASER Experience

The first question most patients have is, “What’s EMERALD LASER treatment like?”

Your individual experience with the Low Level 532 nm LASER will depend upon the reason you’re undergoing treatment. But whether it’s for body contouring or for cellulite, every EMERALD treatment series consists of six separate LASER sessions, lasting 30-40 minutes each. In most cases the LASER will be used for 15-20 minutes on both the front and the back of the region of the body you’re having treated. Each LASER session will be followed by a 1-2 minute gentle mechanical massage to speed the movement of released fat and fluid toward the regional lymph nodes.

For Body Contouring: Six 40 minutes sessions spaced 2-3 days apart.
For Cellulite: One 30-40 minute session per week for a total of six weeks.

For either indication you will be able to resume your daily activities immediately after treatment and will experience:

• ► No discomfort
• ► No skin rash
• ► No “down time”

And YES! Best of all, in none of the double blind, placebo controlled trials submitted to the FDA were any complications of EMERALD LASER treatment noted! Nevertheless, in spite of the demonstrated safety of the LASER, a little extra caution is best!

ELC recommends that each patient wear a pair of our protective eye glasses while the LASER is operating to further minimize the potential for adverse ocular effects.

Yes. ELC has an agreement with a national medical treatment financing company, Varidi, to provide financing for EMERALD treatment programs for those who prefer to spread payments out over a longer period of time. Varidi offers multiple options for financing payments for therapy and features some of the lowest financing charges in the industry. You can select the payment amount and duration that fits your budget!


Absolutely! Multiple and/or adjacent areas can be treated sequentially. “Reappearing” love handles or recurrent deposits of subcutaneous fat in previously treated spots can be retreated. To date, no upper limit has been established for the number of EMERALD LASER treatments a patient can undergo!
